PROJECT FACT SHEET The Mission The community-wide initiative will provide a
housing solution in South Euclid, Ohio for combat wounded Iraq War Army
Veteran Demond Taylor. Working collaboratively under the theme of
"When Hearts Come Together - Great Things
Happen", the City of South Euclid, along with One South
Euclid Community Development Corporation, the Cuyahoga Land Bank and Purple
Heart Homes will renovate the home located at 1171 Avondale Road in South
Euclid, Ohio. Upon completion of the renovated home Service
Connected Disabled Veteran Taylor will purchase the home at a reduced
price to enable him and his family to have the dream of home ownership. Making the Project a Reality: Needs for
Demond's Home It will take approximately $60,000 to $70,000 to
renovate the home in South Euclid. We are looking for financial donations,
volunteer labor and in-kind donations and/or services to help make our
mission a successful reality. Contributions and more information on

his family to have the dream of home ownership. About Demond Taylor US Army Iraq combat wounded veteran Demand Taylor
served our country from September 2001 to July 2005 in the 82nd Airborne.
Demond is among the 211,000 veterans that returned home with serious
invisible injuries from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He
suffers from depression, short-term memory loss, constant headaches,
debilitating nightmares and depression. Demand is employed by the Veterans
Administration and currently resides in an apartment with his wife Amber and
Service Dog Madison. About Purple Heart Homes
Co-founders Dale Beatty and John Gallina Purple Heart Homes was founded in 2008 by two
Iraq combat wounded Veterans who remain on a mission to provide housing
solutions to Service Connected Disabled Veterans that served in all eras.
They were trained to not leave a soldier behind on the battlefield and are
committed to not leaving them behind now that they have returned home. South Euclid Purple Heart
