South Euclid to Observe National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3rd:

The City will observe National Night Out on Tuesday August 3rd. National Night Out is a night to promote cooperative relationships between the Police Department and the Community while encouraging community crime prevention efforts. As part of the National Night Out Observance, Residents are invited to come to Bexley Park from 6:00-8:30 p.m. for information and activities on community crime prevention tactics. Hot dogs and refreshments courtesy of Councilman Ed Icove will also be served. Residents are asked to leave their porch lights on to further show their support for National Night Out. In addition to South Euclid, many communities across the country will be observing National Night Out in association with National Association of Town Watch, a nationwide crime prevention program. Whole Foods to Host Giving Grills on Weds. 8/4 in Support of the South Euclid Community Gardens:

From 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 4th be sure to come out to the Cedar Center Whole Foods for a great low-cost hot of the grill meal of hot dogs (soy or beef) sides and beverages. The cost of the meal is just $5.00 with all proceeds going to benefit the South Euclid Community Gardens, a project of the City’s Green Neighborhoods Initiative. The purpose of the Gardens is to create opportunities for neighbor interaction and to provide a venue for residents to grow their own food.  The Giving Grill will conclude with a walk and tour of the nearby Warrendale Community Garden. The Green Road Farmer's Market Returns for the Summer:

The Green Road Farmer's Market returns to the Front Lawn of the South Euclid-Hillcrest United Methodist Church Thursday's from 2:00- 7:00 p.m. The Market is open now through October 7th. Be sure to check out the Market for some great fresh, local produce, homemade baked goods, and a unique selection of arts and crafts. The South Euclid-Hillcrest United Methodist Church is located at 1534 South Green Road, just south of Mayfield. Please contact the Church at (216) 381-2953 for more information.
